this wedding plannig stuff is starting to drive me insane so many decisons to make and so much money to come up with for a deposit ...and with xmas around thats just less money for deposits!!!! i want the planning to be over with already and i just started ,,, this is going to be a long 488 Days ... i think once i book my DJ and photographer ill be fine ... i just dont know who to go with .... i think i;m going with Let us entertain you for the DJ but the photgrapher i just dont know ... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ..........

yeah they need to understand that just because that is what they did, doesn't mean you have to do the same thing. Its your wedding not theirs. I don't understand why others expect someone to do what they want or what they think should be done

And what bothers me is I'm the one doing the work! I'm the one searching around for vendors that I think are a good value... Oh that's too expensive. i.e. just picking a freaking date which we changed once and now picking the time!! I feel like spending the extra money and going back to the Saturday night.

I was getting overwhelmed also. My FH can't go with me at night to look at alot of things becasue he is in school. So his mom and mine went with me. I would make so many appointments and then have to hear there opinions. It was driving me crazy!!! Thank god all the big stuff is done with. Now just the little things. It will get better once you book.

Neither of our parents had 'weddings' My parents got married ina church and then went out to dinner and FHs parents went to city hall and FFILs boss paid the $5 (at the time) for the marraige license. No fuss. I just think they don't understand what I have in mind. So it's causing such complications!!

i hear ya ... my mom is actually really good about everything she's what ever you want and considering i am the one parying for almost all of it what can she say ... but man FH mom and aunt are a pin in my *** ... his aunt the most!!!!!!!

I am overwhlemed because I work all day and cant get any one to answer when I get home at night (photogs)

I asked FH to get some numbers for me and make some appointments that I can go to while I am off next week and he totally forgot.

I understand that he is busy also but he hasnt even seen the RH yet because he works different times then I do. maybe before New Years eve.

I had the DVD to show him of our place but they really dont show you much of the room.... not as much as I expected to see.

I was actually gonna post about the same thing. It's like one deposit after another. Honestly its not even the money thing that is really getting to me. It's all the people involved, and you can't do this bc this one will get mad and trying to keep everyone happy, and all the opinions and so on. I am not getting into details but I am sure alot of you have to deal with this type of stuff and know what I am talking about.

YUP!!! I've gotten into arguments with my mom everytime i book someone. She doesnt believe that the prices Ive found are relatively low, especially regarding photo/video. We didnt talk for days until i tried calling other places in front of her and got prices that were higher than velvet!!

I just want to say that if you do book with Let Us Entertain You, you will have a wonderful wedding. Bill & Frank are great guys who do and play whatever you want. My dancefloor was always packed.

Which location? Smithtown is right near me. I was thinking about going to hear what they have to offer since they are a recommended vendor of FxH.

I know how you feel I have a deposit on the hall due in february..and I just keep thinking of all of the other costs...a florist, video, dj, photographer...its going to be soooo expensive!

good i'm so happy that you said that i was recommended to them by someone but i wasnt at thier wedding ... i am 99% sure i will be going with them they offer the most at the cheapest price!!!!
