I'm starting to freak out!!

My wedding is in July and I still have not ordered invites!!! Do you think I'm pushing it??? Do you know of any good places in Brooklyn that sells invites? I would really like to go to an actual store because I don't think I have the time to shop on the web or order samples.

I think you can find invitations in Hallmark stores in the malls or in Party City.

relax..you need to mail them out early May....6-8weeks before....I ordered mine at a store and got them back and caligraphied in a month...so you have time...and some of these on-line places have a fast turnaround......

it'll be ok.

If you are looking for someplace in Bklyn, try the Wedding Coach on 18th Avenue & 70th Street.

My wedding is the day after yours and I still don't have invites either. I am having a really hard time finding something I like that is within my budget.

I think we are okay though. Relax!

Don't panic, you have enough time to order your invites! Most invites will be ready in less then a month so you have plenty of time to get your order in. Sorry I can't help you with places in brooklyn though.

Please don't freak out...you have time. I ordered mine about 4-5 months before my wedding. Picked them, ordered them, addressed them and had them done with time to spare!!! I used Simply Elegant in Bayside (a vendor on this site). Good prices and quick turn around time.

RELAX! I really pushed it! I am supposed to mail mine this week and I had mine in TWO WEEKS! I ordered mine from Have You Heard in Bellmore two weeks ago and they were in last Tuesday! I picked them up Thursday and dropped them off (same day) for computer calligraphy and I had them back on Saturday! The WHOLE process with two vendors took exactly 2 weeks!

I know Bellmore is not exactly Brooklyn but they were great there and got them for me in less than 10 days.

And the woman who did my envelopes was in Plainview, but I cannot rave about her enough! (A recommendation from christmasbride1221 - Thanks Christine!) I called her on Thursday afternoon and I had ALL my outer and inner envelopes in my completed and in my hands on Saturday afternoon!

You've got plenty of time. Can't help you with places in Brooklyn, but I dealt with a great place in Merrick ... I've already sent 2 friends there & they are terrific. I got mine back w/i 2 weeks. Then less than a week for the envelopes.

once you pick invites they take like 2 weeks to print up. you have time.

Jenn .. the girl I sent Mary to (april2603) got them back to her in 2 DAYS!!!! Now that's FAST! And they were cheap too! $1.15 per. Couldn't find that price anywhere else!!!

Don't worry.
I am using Simplicity Planning for my eparty invites. Jody is great to work with AND she is in Brooklyn! She is actually a vendor from the board.
I ordered my invites Monday 2/3 and I am getting them tomorrow. She can turn things around in a week. Rush delivery a little sooner. Let me know if you want her contact info.

Thanks ladies, I was starting to think that I was way behind!!! It's comforting to know that the turn around time is not as long as I thought. Thank you for all of your ideas and suggestions. You ladies are the best
