I'm starting to get a little suspicious
My surprise shower was supposed to be this past Saturday. It had to be changed because my mom isn't coming out of the hospital until this Friday & everyone knew I'd want her there & she didn't want to miss it either. I found out at work on Monday because my co-worker handed me a card & apologized for not being able to make my shower on Saturday
I felt so bad because she was so embarrassed! Since she was on the 'no' list, my sister accidentally forgot to call her & tell her about the change!
Anyway, my daughter's second birthday is on Friday (I can't believe it!) & her party is planned for Saturday in FILs backyard. The guests were invited for 1pm & I told FH that I was going over around 12pm to decorate. His parents said from the beginning that they'd handle the food, but we are doing cake & decorations. FH told me that I didn't need to decorate. He said that our parents feel bad that I've been so busy planning the wedding by myself & they wanted to give me a break from planning another party so they are handeling all the food as planned AND now the decorating. He even took the bag of decorations over to his mother today. He says all I have to do is show up at 1pm. He even offered to send me for a mani & pedi Saturday morning to relax me (or to keep me from going over before 1 to set up Dora the Explorer decorations)... his treat!
Does that sound suspicious to anyone else?!
I think they all know I'm suspicios, but I'm not going to tell them that I think I've got this figured out. The only question I still have is what are they doing about Kayleigh's birthday party if I am indeed correct about Saturday? I give them credit, they are mighty sneaky!
