I have straight hair, a few inches past my shoulders and have been growing it out for the wedding. I'm so torn about what to do with my hair!! I like the idea of all up so I don't have to worry about it, but FH likes when it is down....several of my friends like my hair all up....Should I keep it straight or get it curly (FH loves when my hair is curly).... I just don't want it ALL down.... What are the other long straight hair ladies doing???

You have no idea how torn I am also. I have long straight hair and FI only likes it down. I wear it down all the time. Friends tell me to wear it up but low (a low bun). My mother and FMIL say to wear it half up and a little wavy. All I want to do is be comfortable that day. I think wearing it in a low bun is the best idea for me. My trial is this Sunday... For you I think that if FI likes it curly, wear it half up and curly. I wish I had curly hair...

I have straight hair & too curly wouldn't look like me, but I want big waves & body from rollers I think, half up.

I think I am just going to wear my hair down. I always wear my hair down and I am not comfortable with how it looks when it's up, so why bother trying to put it up?

I am having the same problem. My mom would love to see it all up. FH would love to see it down. I have NO CLUE!

I have long straight hair, and am planning on wearing it in a low bun like the picture below - unless my hairstylist impresses me with something else and changes my mind!

i am going to wear mine in a low bun, similar to the one jvs77 showed. my hair reacts to any amount of humidity and there is less chance of the weather getting to it when it's up.
