I'm such a dope...I dropped DH cell phone in a sewer!

It was on my lap and as i was getting out of the car, it fell onto the road and right down the sewer. oh man...well, good thing we were at il's house. fil got a crow bar and opened up the sewer. but then the three of us stood there wondering how we were going to get it out. who was going down? me? dh? fil??? what was down there??? but then i got this brilliant idea to get a bucket and some rope. well, the dogs leash had to suffice and we took some molding and pushed it into the bucket. man...are we good or what? still felt like the biggest dork.

yes, it does! he has this cover on it, so i guess it kind of cusioned it. but since it was dark out, we had to call his phone to see where in the sewer it was...too funny!

Don't feel bad I flushed mine down the toliet, never thought it would actually get sucked in. After it fell in I figured I would get it after the toleit finished flushing, boy was I wrong and the worst part was it was at a friends house. I felt so horrible. It clogged the toliet after about a month, and they had to take the toliet apart and there was my phone. I was actaully happy to get it back because since it was purchased at Costco they have a live time warrenty and was able to get my full refund back on it after I showed the proof of purchase. I didn't get a replacement because after I flushed the phone I went to Costco and bought a replacement because I never thought the old one would resurface.

My sister was in the dentists office and put the phone down, and it fell in the toilet. She didnt flush it, was brave enough to fish it out and get a replacement.
I laugh everytime I think about it.

it is funny b/c over the summer, dh spilled gatorade in his lunchbox and his celly was in there, so this was his replacement phone!!!

I cannot believe you went into the sewer to get a cell phone! That must've been some cell phone! My DH dropped his cell of the boat onto the bottom of the Great South Bay! Now THAT was never retrieved!!!
