i was getting into my car today and misjudged where the door was opened and i smashed my forehead so hard against the corner of the door. it hurt like hell! now i have this big gash that's so swollen and red - it's so painful when i touch it. with 2 1/2 weeks till the wedding- i need to be more careful!!!

So sorry to hear that .. did you ice it to bring the swelling down??? I'm no nurse, but I've always had the understanding that you ice something to bring swelling down, then use a hot compress get the circulation going well.
