I'm such a sneaky bride! (kinda long)

I have a confession: I found out that my shower is this sunday. I know b/c I snooped around my house until I found stuff about it, since my mom is planning it along with my sister. I've known this for a few weeks now. Since then, I've been addicted to looking for more info about my shower - nothing much is going to be a surprise now, and I don't know how I feel about that. Somehow, I like being a detective so much that I never let myself be surprised. I've been like this ever since I was a kid - I always found every present before Chanukah!

Anyhow, tonight, I found the table arrangements, and when I looked at who was coming, I saw that quite a few of my good friends are missing. A few are from out of town, so I totally understand - they live in Virginia and Phildelphia. However I am upset about one person I didn't see on the list. I guess she just couldn't make it - I know she would have been invited. It's just weird b/c she is a close friend of mine for about 10 years, and it will feel really weird for her not to be at my shower when some friends I've made within the last 3 years in grad school will be. I'm sure she has a good reason, but it makes me sad that she won't be there I also feel really guilty for all the spying I've been doing, but at the same time, it's a great escape from all my schoolwork and very hectic schedule. Thanks for listening.

Sorry to hear that! I'm sure whoever it is that is not comin, has a good reason. Just try not to stress and enjoy your shower! Try to act surprised

Oh, I've been working on my surprised face for weeks! I jump at loud noises naturally, so when everyone yells 'surprise', I'm sure I'll have some kind of surprised, wide-eyed look on my face

LOL!! I'm the same way, like when it comes to presents for b-days and christmas. i always snoop, but I never find anything. my FH knows better
