I'm the one bride who GAINS weight before wedding

I gained 13 lbs. I have been out of control. I'm so depressed. I went for my fitting and didn't even bother taking photos because I looked so awful. My mom made the seamstress attach little straps to hold up my huge chest (there's no cleavage though which is what I wanted) yet she said the first thing everyone will notice is my huge chest.

My dress just fit, meanwhile back in June it was two sizes too big and we were so excited that I had taken off some weight for the wedding.

How the heck can I drop 15 lbs by November 8? I was going to do no carbs starting today and already I had a WW egg sandwich. Only 4 points but carb city

UGH! I'm going to the gym, but can't get into it the way I was in the winter and spring.

Anyone else gaining or having trouble losing? I'm so depressed. I bought cute stuff for the Honeymoon that barely fits now.

You are not alone!!! But I knew I would gain weight so I ordered my dress 1 size bigger and now that's tight. Enjoy. Whocares. You will look amazing

Awwh Dont be stressed. You can do it. You just need to commit your self. If your going to do no carbs, make sure you have the food you will need. I know its hard cause my Mom does it everyday. But she is very commited and today has lost 75lbs. Get to the gym and put on some good beats, i suggest you use the eliptical. Maybe the rocky theme song, or my fav MJ's Beat it!! And when your legs start to burn and you feel like giving up, push yourself more. Say : PAIN IS BEAUTY!! LOL. You WILL be beautiful on your wedding day! I gained 17lbs since my wedding day, and today is my first day that Iam trying to eat better! I already had Taco dip! Taco dip is addicting and very EVIL!

I am nervous too!! I try my dress on next week and am a bit scared.

I would just hit the gym and drink that water

On Sunday I bought the dvd, 30 day shred. A lot of girls on here have been talking about how well it works. It claims you can lost 20 pounds in 30 days. Even if it doesnt come off THAT fast, I'm sure you can lose 15 in 2 1/2 months.

LET ME TELL YOU, i did it on Monday and couldn't move until today! It really works!

I had no choice on what size I ordered, I got the biggest dress David's Bridal makes


You are all so thoughtful and inspiring! Thanks, I'm pumped and I'm going to the gym today for like a TWO hour work out. Lunch will be lean steak over salad that I made myself with WW shredded cheese (I love how they bag it for you so you can't over do it!)

OK, I'm ordering it. It's not even pounds that really matter, it's inches - I need the clothes and dress to fit comfy!

Um yeah, you are not alone! I lost 11 lbs. in the past 2 months, and just gained 5 in 2 weeks from eating out so much! Uggghhh

Thats how I feel too. I had lost weight, But i think in the past month i've put on a lil because clothes arent fitting the same. Idk about weight, i just want to be smaller inches wise. Good luck! If you put your mind to it, you can do it!

On another note, you mentioned cutting out carbs.. I did this a couple of months ago, and it does work.. HOWEVER, i started getting dizzy, and my hair started falling out. So i would be very careful. If you just do the workout and eating smart, just cutting out the junk and if you want it, its all about portion. You can do it. 15 isnt that much for 10 weeks.

You can do it!!!!!!!!!! Stay positive!!!!

Give yourself one day to eat not healthy food, because if you dont' you'll be craving it all week!!

Good luck and keep it up!!! Go to the gym as much as you can, if you cant make it go for a walk or something, especially if its nice out.

I found it at Modells. I had gone to Best Buy, Target, Circuit City and Sports Authority looking for it, and finally found it!

I ordered all these cute capris from Old Navy and they are ***-tight now I'm so bummed! I just ordered two swim suits from Lands End - they have that overstock sales. Two suits for $80 and free shipping (coupon codes rock). I can't wear Old Navy or Avenue swim suits - they aren't supportive enough and don't hold me in. I've bought them before and my chest was hanging out of them and it was annoying.

a lot of the articles ive read say that one of the biggest regrets that a bride has after the wedding was not getting into shape before their wedding - so everytime i feel like being lazy or eating bad i think of that.....because i dont want to look at my pictures and video and wish that i had worked out more.....

try cutting carbs like you said, and EXERCISE, you have enough time if you work out and eat right
