I'm tired of it

I'm tired of it

The man takes the bar on the 24th and the 25th.

I haven't had real time with him since he started school. That was four months into our relationship - when we'd already said I love you, when he'd already said I want to marry you.

So on July 26, he's mine.

And I'm afraid that I don't know what to do with him anymore.

Sometimes I look at him and wonder if I really know him. Part of me doesn't want to ever really fully know him because life is fun that way (to me).

I think that as tired as I am of just plain never seeing him - I'm scared to actually see him.

big adjustment

total lifestyle change

so it makes sense you are scared

it's like getting married, moving in all over again

Exciting, if you ask me - a lot of married folk don't get the opportunity for such freshness. Renewal.

I have been through a few 'renewals'- after working opposite hours, etc. none quite as dramatic, but still relearning a relationship with the 'stranger in the bed'.
I can see the scaryness, for sure.
Plan something- like a day at Great Adventure. Except not great adventure, because it's expensive and the lines are too long.

Enjoy this time with him now bc I'm sure once he starts working in a firm his life will be over again for a few years...

You know what - that's it.

I'm afraid to get him back just to lose him again.

Because he's starting his own firm. And I want him to be successful because it means so much more to him that a career - he needs it and I want him to have it. He deserves it.

But - there's us.

My life is so hard, I know.

You were supposed to tell me where to eat in Cape Cod. Tell me tomorrow.

That's excellent! Good for him! At least he'll be slaving for himself and his firm and not some rich, nasty ba$stards...as far as you go...you guys are going to have to dedicate and make time for each other...then eventually I'm sure you'll get used to it. Maybe you can even help him out a bit at work...
