I'M TO FAT FOR MY DRESS!!!!!!!!!!

It's true. I bought my dress 2 years ago and I was 2 months pregnant at the time. You see I got pregnant the night we got engaged. We were supposed to get married last Sept but we put it off till this year. Any way I've lost some weight and I've been working with a personal trainer. But my MOH kept telling me to try on the dress I kept putting it off by saying 'Why I know I'm fat' But the other day I broke down and decided that she was right. So my Mom brought it over and needless to say it would only zip to my waist!! And there were like 5 inches between the two unzipped sides. Which means I would have to lose like 30lbs in 6 months and that is a little to much in such a short time. So I went back to the place I bought the dress to begin with and thank God they said that I could trade it for a bigger size or a dress of equal value. I was worried about trying other sizes on because I was scared of how big I would have to go. Luckily I fit into just one size up from what i was. And it fits well, it is still a little tight, but I'm still working out and I do plan on losing more weight. But 10 or 15lbs is alot more realistic than 30lbs. Anyway I just thought I would share. Again Thank God they are letting me get a bigger size, now I just have to pray that my Mother can find the reciept!! LOL

I am so NOT looking forward to buying a dress. I have to lose MAJOR poundage! Why is weight so much easier to gain than lose!

I have to loose 3 inches off my waist...bc i ordered the largest size 20....and its a LITTLE tight...but i have time to loose it

Me too!!!!! on my hips, i have 1 small crease on each side and the seamstress said you have to loose a little weight on your hips, i was like ok- more working out to do

I'm so glad they were able to help you! You will lose weight before the wedding though, don't worry. I was terrified after my first fitting because my dress was tight but on my wedding day it fit perfectly.

Oh another note I've gained 10 lbs since my wedding...a MONTH ago!! Yikes!! I guess the honeymoon needs to be over!!
