my feelings on LIF. I think maybe I'll just post on NW here after the wedding. I'm scared of some of those people, plus it seems like its even too much of a drama pit for ME. Anyone else feel weird over there?

My cats are all rescue cats! Mima was from a shelter and the other 2 were from some WT girl who refuses to spay her cat. My elkhound was also from animal rescue, but we got our shepard at a breeder.

he was so small when we got him, too... how could you do that to any living thing?

I like it better over there. There's as much or even less drama there IMO. And it's MUCH more welcoming. But I might not read the drama areas - I stay away from the parenting/TTC ones and pets. But everyone's been super nice in the areas I read and post it.

I just created an account over there so I could post on the teacher board.
Families helping Families is depressing -- lots of people need prayers. TTC is depressing and it's so hard to read with all the abbreviations.
LIW has drama and people need to vent all the time but it's centered around a very happy event.
That site seems to be mostly about problems.

I feel like people get attacked a lot quicker over there. I remember reading a post concerning one of our pregnant 08 brides. She was newly pregnant and said something her doctor recommended and instead of giving their opinions they jumped on her like rabid dogs and tried to make her feel like she was an idiot. She said her goodbye to the board and said she wasnt going to come back. Which was good for her because they were wrong in the way they reacted to her post. Its like if you dont agree with the majority, they attack.
And thats just one of the posts that I read that shouldnt have been made into drama the way it was. There was one about pets, and one about BFing, and one about a mother wish a sick child who was made to feel like an idiot too. Like I said a very Holier-than-thou attitude over there and I stay away from people like that in real life as well as on the internet.
