i'm upset- long

I am so sorry you are upset. We have had alot of last minute cancelations becasue of deaths and sicknesses, and it stinks, I too was very upset, not at the person, but the entire situation.

The most important part is that you nd you FH are there, everyone else is just extra!!!

I am sorry that this is happening. Maybe closer to the wedding some of them may change their minds and come.

You are NOT a baby AT ALL!!! I understand EXACTLY how you feel because it's just me, my brother, my mom, and my dad here in NY. My mom is the youngest of 8 and they are ALL in Lima,PERU. My father is the oldest of 7 and they're all in FLORIDA. I know how difficult it is for people out of the country to travel to the US...it's VERY expensive and VERY difficult. The economy there is bad, a lot of my family can't find jobs, and my uncle (mom's brother) just got diagnosed with colon cancer, his wife has stomach cancer, his daughter is paralyzed from the waist down due to a tumor on her spine...my cousin lost his job...I have SO MUCH family in Peru and to be honest, I think only my 1 aunt will be able to make it to my wedding on my mother's side of the family. On my father's side...well, my grandmother is too weak, and I think only my 2 aunts will come. So that makes 3 family members attending....while my fiance has about 80+ family in NY! You're gonna hear crickets on my side of the church! But it's ok...I PLENTY OF CLOSE FRIENDS TO FILL THOSE PEWS!

I don't know if it's an option for you...but what about going to India and having a small family celebration there? I'm sure they all feel terrible that they can't make it.
