I'm very sad

I'm getting married in 2 days and went to the post office this morning hoping that they would have a package that I mailed from San Diego to NY last week with all of my wedding stuff. It should have gotten here by now. Well they don't have it and if it's not in tomorrow, then I won't have it before the wedding. I started crying at the post office, but there is nothing we can do without a tracking number. My wedding slip is in there, with my back up shoes (flip flops), all of my menus that I made, all of the programs and placecards! I spent a year and a half making all of it and now it may not even make it to the wedding. I'm so sad about not having it. Not to mention won't even have my slip! This is horrible! Today is the 8th day of it being in route.

Let us know if we can help in anyway. Did you do your menus and programs in MS Word? I'm sure we could all get together and whip up a batch for you. We can replace what you've lost...

Did you talk to the post master general and tell him what is in it??? I would talk to him and see if he can call your originating post office and if they can do anything to help you!!!

Don't give up hope they very likely will come in tomorrow. If not, maybe the Watermill could have the place cards made? The programs like everybody said could be redone on the computer. I am so sorry you have to stress like this so close to your wedding. I hope everything works out for you. I am sure you will have a great wedding no matter what.

I would be more than happy to loan you my slip. It is a hoop. I won't need it for 2 weeks. If you saved the menus and programs, I can help print them up for you. A bunch of us could divide them up. I have to print mine anyway. If you don't have them saved, I can email you my program and you could just plug in your information. I am so sorry you are going through this. I'll say a little prayer that your package arrives tomorrow.

Karen, did the post office give you a day when it would get here? I am sure it will come today. They will try and rush everything out for hoilday weekend. If I can help you out in any way, let me know. I'll get you your flip flops!!!! I am off at work at 6pm and I will hunt them down for you!!! It will all work out!
