I'm writing a TO DO list for my fi

Has anyonelse done this?
He just isn't getting his butt in gear... He's been very helpful with things though. I can't complain...

I dont write lists b/c he would loose them or throw them away

I usually just have to ask... and only remind him 6 times before he does it

Been there done that.. after the 10th time of asking, he's gettin a list!!! He is too much.. he gets distracted in his dumb TV shows!!!

You should see the look of horror on his face when I ask him to make a PHONE call for something!!!

Oh I know.. this is all, it's not a lot at all:

Call HIS friends to get their updated addresses
Pick out his wedding ring
pick likes/dislikes out of the dj song list
He has to mail the CP's to my mom's house
get eyebrows shaped (I threw that in there but he wants to do it)

UGH! My FH will need that one too! He DENIES that he has a small case of uni-brow.

I to will have to constantly remind him to do things as we get closer to our day.

As of now, everything is up to me! I told him the other day of things I want US to do while he is on vacation next week. Like meeting with photographers, DJs, etc. He was not thrilled! Oh well!

i put it on the fridge - in big bold typed out lists.

He can't escape it.

Good luck to you. I hope it works.

I haven't tried it but I'm very sure that would not work with my fi. I have to pick one thing and remind him about that until it's done. Then, we're on to the next thing.

Everyone's different. Some are better with lists than others. Does he make lists for himself? If not, a list may not be the way to go.

FI was more involved with the wedding before we had to rush and change our date. Since he works in retail, he is never home anymore. And when he is, he does help with the wedding. I would feel horrible asking for anymore from him at this point. But he was good at taking care of his share of the vendors before the date change.

I haven't done this....but every single day I repeatedly tell him...'did you do this, did you forget to, why haven't you done it, when are you going to do it'. I'm trying to get my FI to make a list of who he wants to invite to our e-party in May. I've been asking him for 3 months already. I had my list done since day one. Him.. NOTHING. Finally, yesterday I asked him how many people do you think you will be inviting and I got 'about 50.' I can't begin to tell you how many times I forced a pen/ paper and told him to write....he says 'not now, later...the game is on'

Oh goodness..

It's so funny, because if he see's me or hears me doing something, the he wants to get involved.. Like right now, he just said 'what are you doing' I said working on YOUR list, and he said.. I'm gonna do that when myth busters is over.. I love him, I think it's hilarious
