I am really close to using Imagine for photo & video. I love Lia's work! The video looked good to me too, but I haven't seen any other video vendors so I have nothing to compare it to. How does Imagine's video compare to other videographers? I am going to try to set up some video appointments to help me make a decision, but any feedback you have would be soooo helpful!!

We used Imagine for both photo and video and we were very pleased, by the end of the week I should have my highlights to share with you all. Imagine's video was lovely. Everyone knows what they are looking for, so no matter what we say, it comes down to what you like,
We love our video. Nelson was everywhere capturing everything and our wedding was lively non-stop event. Go see others, just a reminder you cannot book Lia w/o Nelson. They work as a team. Booking them together was not a problem for us, his work is just as wonderful as his wife. He followed her to do our garden shots and he incorporated it into the video and we loved it. Its up to you and your FI to decide in the end what you both like.

Shamma pretty much said it all. We were happy that they worked together & that made it so easy for us. We loved Nelson's work & he was a pleasure to be with all day. He made me feel very comfortable.
The other thing I liked was the fact that they didn't take over the ceremony or the reception. You hardly knew that they were there. No boom lights or dollies or tripods all over the dance floor. It felt like a party, not a music video. They didn't get in anyone's way & our guests appreciated that. And when the raw footage came back, he didn't miss anything! We can't wait to get the final video back .... I know it'll be fantastic!

I also considered Imagine and loved Lia's work, I thought her photos were beautiful, but I did not care for the video. If you book Imagine you have to use them for both photo and video and their video prices are not cheap. When I looked at their DVD presentation of the video I thought it was fine, but when I aked to view somebody's actual edited video, I did not like what I saw AT ALL. I could not justify spending over 2K on video and not liking the finished product. I ended up booking Wild Rose for video and for around the same price I am getting alot more. As soon as I looked around at other videographers I just could not justify booking Nelson for the same money. If you did not have to book Imagine for both, I would have booked them for photo hands down! Many times, videos are afterthoughts, but if you are going to pay top dollar, you may as well get a top product. I do not feel their video is a top product. This of course is just my opinion, I know many brides on this site love their photos and videos from Imagine. If you do love the video, I say book them, they seem to be wonderful people and the photography is breathtaking.

We used them for both. And we love everything they did for us. Our video is wonderful. Nelson captured our day perfectly. He captured so many of the little things that made our day so wonderful.

I semi-agree with EvenEdan. I didn't think Imagine's video was bad by any means; it just wasn't as good as Wild Rose. If I'm going to be paying that much money, I want to be extremely happy with the product, and I don't think I would have been. When I saw Wild Rose's videos I cried - that's how good they are. I was SO upset that I couldn't book Lea separately. I really love her work.

I completely agree with EvenEden and Anniegirl. I met with Imagine and I fell in love with Lia's work. However, FH and I were not too impressed with their video. Although I totally loved Lia's work I really didn't want to feel like I just 'settled' for my video so I met and booked Wild Rose for my video. Wild Rose's videos are amazing!! You really have to see for yourself! I wanted to be 100% happy with both photo and video and it wouldn't be that way for me if I would have booked Imagine for video, but this is only my opinion.
