Imagine Studios

I am in the process of looking for a photographer and was a little discouraged this weekend when I visited 2 studios and their minimum packages were over my budget. I was wondering if Imagine Studios are reasonably priced and if its worth going to see them since they are a bit far from me? Also, if anyone used them would you mind sharing approx. how much you spent on your pictures and what was included in your packages? Thanks, Vivian

Mark Kaufmann gave me an hourly rate, b/c my budget is very small. I don't want quantity, but one quality album. Also, I do not have a bridal party and the ceremony is at the reception site. I want someone to take pictures on an hourly rate (2-3 hours). So, I would contact his studio, post on the vendor site to him, and he will respond. All the ladies on this site rave about Kaufmann and his staff.

We are paying $3200 (I think) but I know they are raising their prices. That includes 40 pictures in our album, 2 parent albums, 3 8X10`s and an 11X14, and 75 thank you`s. We aren`t getting married until March 2003 but we locked in the price before they raised them. Lia is a sweetheart and we booked them for video also. We are getting 2 videographers for $2200. They have a smaller package and I will check my contract and the price list when I get home.

Imagine Studios * Definately Worth It

I found them very reasonable and flexible. We did not go with a package. We decided what we wanted in terms of # of pages in the album, # of 5x7's # of 8x10's etc. and got prices from our two final protograher choices. Imagine was totally willing to work with us this way and we are more than happy with our proofs and service so far. We should get our album in April (cant wait). Do they offer a video? If so, do you have to use their video services if you booked them as your photographer or can you use another video company? Thanks again, Vivian

I booked for March 2003. They said if you are booking their prime months you have to use both. I am getting married in March so they said that I did not have to. I booked their video anyway. I was impressed and for 2200 I got 2 videographers for the day and I thought their video was very good...the vows were very clear. I was torn between their video and Wild Rose.

I used them for my wedding in November. My proofs are wonderful. When I find time and a scanner, I will post them here. I thought they were very reasonable, but off the top of my head, I can't remember the price. I also used them for video, and we got the unedited video, which is pretty good. I recommend them.

we book them for both photo and video. Lia did our engagment pix and they are awesome. She is great to work with.
