Imagine Studios input needed...

Hey guys, I just received an email back on prices and packages from Imagine Studios. They seem really reasonable from what I'm finding. Can anyone give me feedback on them? Good or bad. Picking photographers to see is extremely hard. I have 4 to see when I go to LI, and now I want to add a couple more. That'll be 6 photographers to see in 4 days, yikes!!! So far I have appointments to see Paul Marino, Ziba Film, Hal Lyman, Patken, and I'm thinking about making appointments to see Michael O'Neill, and Imagine Studios. Any input on any of these people would help! Thanks so much!!!

Imagine Studios input needed...

We are using Imagine for both pictures and video. We liked their work and liked their personalities, which is what made up our mind. Their style is more candid and less posed, which we liked.

I'm in the same boat as you Melissa - traveling to LI every couple of month's and jamming in as many appointments as possible. Do you know where Imagine Studio office is located? I more interested in candid work as well.

Fonzi, I looked in whitepages.com and the number comes up in Brentwood. Which is good for me since my parents live in Central Islip and my wedding is in Port Jeff.

We are using them for both photo and video. We did our engagement pixs with Lia and and were very happy with the results. They got high marks from my sister (MOH) who is in the film business, for thier talent and professionalism. She asked a million technical questions that I knew nothing about. We also liked their personalities - important point since they will be with us all day.

We booked them for our June 2002 wedding. We were both impressed with Lia's mix of photojournlist pictures using black and white film. They are alos extremely flexible. I need to add a significant number of thank you's to my package b/c of the size of my wedding and they were extremely accomodating. We are so excited. Good luck!

We are using Imagine for our 11/3/01 wedding, just photography. (We are not getting a video) We were very impressed with Lia's flexiblity and creativity. We really wanted more Black & Whites and candid shots. Her Black & Whites were beautiful. Many of her pictures were beach shots and we are getting married on the North Fork so we also want some beach shots.

I spoke with them today. Nelson said they don't do just photography. You have to get both video and photos????

I had called Imagine yesterday - I've already booked my Video (a good friend of my mom's has a business on the side) so I told them I was only looking for photography. Although it doesn't look like they're available the date we're getting married she didn't say it would be a problem just to do the photos. (However now you have me wondering, maybe that's why she said the date was booked...)

That may be a new policy of theirs. I actually have a signed contract with them and everything for only Photography. I signed with them a while ago (Feb.) so maybe they changed their policy in the last few months.
