In 6 more days....

In 6 more days....

We will be leaving for our delayed honeymoon. We can't wait. We leave on Saturday 3/31 for Hawaii for 2 weeks. We both definitely need this trip right now.

BTW, we will also be homeowners the day before we leave. A very exciting week for us!!!!

I packed a pair of shorts for each day for the Bahamas, then 2 dresses and a pair of pants with one sweater cover up. And this was for 6 nights and 7 days.

And remember - wear sunscreen! Take it from someone who is burnt to a red crisp like a red ripe tomato and do NOT use the sun block SPRAY

I have a lot of suncreen. All numbers! Thanks for the reminder. I can't believe everything is finally here. I feel like we have been waiting months to close and to go on our honeymoon and now it's here!!

DH & I owned a house a year before our wedding but I did not live there. I lived at home with my parents until our wedding day. Then we went on our HM and the greatest part was I wasn't upset when the HM was over because I knew I was going to live in my house with DH. Some people get bummed that their vacation is over but you will see, it won't upset you too much because you will be excited to go home to your new house. It is great!

Post pics when you get home of both your HM and your house.

Thanks for sharing your perspective. That is a great way to look at it. It will definitely be incredible to come home from our honeymoon and move into our house. It is such an exciting time.
