In a Lull..............

I feel like im totally in a lull with all my wedding stuff. We got most of our vendors and we arent getting married until november of 2003, because of money and saving. I was all excited about planning and now there isnt much to plan anymore. I joined WW, so im losing weight and i dont want to look for dresses quite yet. I feel like i should be doing something , but im not sure what. I feel so unexcited now. My fiance thinks im nuts! any words of wisdom?? thanks for letting me vent.

I think you have time, you can put energy into WW...instead of wedding ideas, look for recipes...I know when I lost 15 pounds on WW, I was devoted to it and exercise... Read some books...take some classes Make a list of big things that need to get done for the wedding and work on one a month, so you still keep planning...otherwise relax...I have 4 months and I feel like I don't have any time left!!

Some advise...

I would start thinking of attendants gifts, favors and any little extras now. Get as much done as you can now, then relax as it gets closer. I have less than one month to go and still have alot to do. Good luck with WW! :)

Thanks guys. WW is really exciting. I am going with one of my bridesmaids, and we are having fun counting points and stuff (especially at the bar). we call each other for motivation. My fiance is one of those people who can eat an never gain weight, I'm really not!!! We also joined lucille roberts, so maybe i will devote more time into making myself healthier.

In a Lull..............

Well, we started planning our wedding 19 months in advance, in February. We booked half of our vendors in May, then there wasn't anything to do until our next trip to LI which wasn't until Christmas, and that's when we booked basically the rest of our vendors. And now, there's 5.5 months left, and we went shopping for wedding bands last weekend, we had so much fun, and my bridesmaids dresses were ordered yesterday, and now we're getting ready to order invitations, favors, etc. The time in between booking people, was so boring, and it seemed so far away. But I can't tell you how fast it went by. The only thing I can recommend is to do research on all the little stuff. That's just as fun. Definitely hang in there... I went through plenty of, 'I have nothing else to do for the next XXX months!' Good luck!

Some advise...

I feel the same way KIm. I am in April of 2003 and have booked all of my vendors, ordered my dress, done te favors and a couple of other things. I am now trying to figure out what else I can do now and put away until the wedding. I guess I will just have to wait a couple more months to do some more stuff.

In a Lull..............

Don't forget - Summer is on it's way! That always FLIES by - before you know it you'll be in November (my day is the 9th 2002!) and then the holidays rush in. The Summer will help things move along I'm sure. I am feeling the same way!
