In a way I'm kind of glad I waited so long to take on planning this wedding.

In a way I'm kind of glad I waited so long to take on planning this wedding.

This morning I woke up in a complete funk that I couldn't shake. October was probably the best few weeks I've had in a long time: my mom and sister visited, I picked up my gown (and they got to see it!), we picked out BM dresses, I went to Florida for their Halloween party, FH and I celebrated 5 years together, and then last week were the Pearl Jam shows.

I didn't even flip my calendar to November until late last night...I didn't want to let go of October. I know, pathetic.

Anyway, I am really not looking forward to not spending the holidays with my family this year. Since they moved to Florida 5+ years ago, I've always made it down there for either Christmas or Thanksgiving. And it doesn't help that Christmas was being crammed down our throats as soon as the last trick-or-treater rang their last doorbell.

I spoke with FH. Scratch that...BAWLED to FH this morning about it all...and then came to the conclusion that I'm glad I'm a procrastinator, because there is so much to be done in regard to this wedding! We've done diddly-squat!

So planning this wedding will be my distraction from the holidays...or rather, my distraction from missing my family during the holidays.

Sorry for the ramble.
