It took me way over a year to lose about 20 pounds - but I did it very carefully and healthfully - I am 5'5, and weigh 130.

Hi, I have lost 22 lbs in 8 weeks...I'm following a semi-WW diet, lots of water, little snacks all day (100 calorie packs, fruit), oatmeal every day for breakfast. I'm 5'6 and still want to lose another 20.

I'm 5'5 and so far have lost 20lbs in about 6 weeks. I put myself on a very strict workout schedule including cardio and circuit training. I also cut all of my food portions in half and am eating a lot more fruits and veggies. Also not eating snacks every day like I was before (cookies, candy, etc). I'm sure my weight loss will slow down a bit more but I still want to lose another 35-40 lbs before my wedding.

LOL I understand your pain on the half an inch... I always tell people I am 5'3 3/4, but my license says 5'3. hahaha

I am 5'6'. I have gone down 14 pounds in 8 weeks. I am careful about what I eat (lots of lean protein, good fats and good carbs). I also workout 4 to 5 times a week. I have cheated every now and then.

I started at 155 lbs - currently I am at 141 lbs - My goal weight is 130 lbs, so I have 11 pounds to go. However, I have noticed that while the scale has started to slow down I am still losing a lot of inches. I think I am losing fat and replacing it with muscle. it's important to keep that in mind and not just look at the scale.
