i have crazy anxiety
FH family and mine are meeting for the first time tomorrow night
FH and i are taking everyone out to eat - 26 people!!
i am SOOO nervous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ooo!!! Good luck. Thats always a scary night, but you'll be surpised how well it will go and how quickly it will be over! Have some wine!!

It will be fine!!! But just n case the air gets thick, have an inappropriate dirty joke ready to go!!

OK, don't be nervous. It will all be fine! I panicked when my FH's family met mine. They are all Sicilian born, and you'd think they just came over yesterday. They hold tight to so many traditions, values.

My parents - super American. They're like 'if you don't speak english, get out of the country'.

FH family - LOVES KIDS> you cant have enough.

My family - HATES KIDS>

Get my point? I was sweating bullets! But lo and behold, they got past a huge language barrier, and all 18 of us got along and the day was GREAT!

Take a breath, and realize that FH loves you no matter what. From here on out, just laugh at everything and don't sweat the small stuff =)

Oooo i remember when you were looking for places and WOW its tomorrow...I was the same way, i was extremely nervous and having such anxiety...Our families are so different, his are very americanized, mine are very european, his mom is very religious my mom is the opposite. Also my dad is very loud, says whatever and doesn't hold back. I honestly was just waiting for a disaster to happen, but you know what it turned out GREAT!!!! i couldn't believe how well it went

Everything will be fine, when you get to the restaurant after just a few mins you will feel ALOT better...Plus theres 26 ppl which believe it or not make it easier, more ppl to make conversation i mean out of 26 ppl someone has got to have something to say lol so no awkward silences.

FH keeps asking me whats wrong and im just so nervous and nauseus, i cant even express why im in this 'blah' mood right now

Once everyone starts eating and drinking- it'l be fine. Just make sure you drink too- haha. Have one before you leave the house. or two, or three

i will def. have a glass of wine and thanks girls
