In an attempt to get these boards moving again here's the first of a series of questions

What are u having your guests throw after the ceremony?
Unfortunately my Church does not allow rose petals, so we're thinking of either doing confetti (which I'm not too crazy about) or have the guests ring those cute silver bells.

I was thinking of doing bubbles too but then I've heard that they might stain my gown and the bridesmaid's too - maybe the non-toxic ones are safer? i have to research it more before i decide

I have a related question...
If you are getting married in a typically cooler time of year are you expecting your guests to wait outside for you to emerge to throw things? And then what if you can't have throwing..
I'm getting married in a church on March 30, at night... I feel like it may be too cold to just have people hanging out afterwards to throw things, and Im' kinda short on time, so I dont want to necessarily spend a lot of time at the church afterwards, but how do you tell guests to just head out to the reception hall/back to the hotel??

I don't think I'm allowed to throw anything and I so wanted to throw rose petals. What about ribbon wands? On theknot.com I asked the girls if they have used them and quite a few wrote back that they wouldn't use them and they are not a good idea. Does anyone know why?

My church won't allow ANYTHING. No rice, birdseed, rose petals or even bubbles. I'm going with the silver bells.

My church won't allow rose petals either so we will probably just do the bubbles.
