how much $$ do you spend? i try so hard not to spend too much. i get coffee in the morning at 7-11, then 2 cups here during the day - only .70 each so i don't sweat that too much. i try to bring my lunch each day - but there are only so many sandwiches i can eat.
i'd say i speand anywhere from $4-$7 a day...sometimes less.
i don't could gas b/c thats just a necessity and its only like once a week
i mean work day, not weekends. weekends my budget goes to sh!t

I'm envious...but I know where I spend, and know I can cut back, but I'm spoiled and hate cooking:
$10 express bus fare round-trip $5 average breakfast (coffee and sandwich or fruit salad) $10 average lunch (cheapest I find is $5 for a large fruit salad once in a while)
If I go shopping on my lunch hour - god help me...

i've been trying to bring lunch everyday to work, but if i don't about 5.00.
get coffee free at work, and theres always some sort of cake, cookies or anything sweet around here.

I try to spend 0 per day on coffee and food. It adds up if I don't. On theweekends, I will get mani/pedi for $20. That's it. And after looking at balances of vendors last night, that will soon have to be cut!

I spend anywhere from $1.50 (coffee) and I'll eat cereal for bkfst, I try to go $5 or less for lunch, which isn't so bad when chinatown is in walking distance. If there are left overs from dinner (which we eat at home almost every night during the week) I let fh take them since it's harder to find inexpensive lunch in midtown...but if there is enough for both of us I bring it in too.
my office buys me my metrocard, so transport on the trains is free.

i know i need to cut back and really start bringing my lunch - when you think about it, it can be a lot.
and the cafeteria in my office is gross-a-roo. and its like 6 bucks for grilled cheese and a soda.....

honestly, I bring my breakfast & lunch to work with me! So if I even spend anything, it is about $5 a day..I usually stop to buy fruit on the way home for a snack or milk for the house...

well, i will tell you i work like a slave for that food i sit at my desk 12 hours a day and eat lunch here as well. sometimes it would be nice to work 9-5 and pay for my own meals- just to get out of the office.

I hear ya, I work 8:30-4:30 sometimes longer, and on Thursdays until 6:30 because I work until class rarely leave my desk for lunch unless we're going out as a group, but I have you ladies here to keep me entertained

I don't spend anything!! I drive into work, but don't count gas and I don't stop to pick anything up. I bring my lunch to work everyday, just on Fridays I go out and try to keep it under $5. For dinner I just go home and make something.
