In between the ceremony/ reception...

Hey all!

I have a quick question; I'm getting married at St. Agnes in Rockville Centre at 3pm. The reception starts at 7:30pm at the Fox Hollow in Woodbury. I have family coming in from Westchester/ Florida so they won't have anywhere to go except their hotels.

Is anyone doing anything for your guests in between the church and reception? I know Fox Hollow has a bar that they can go to, but I just wanted to see if anyone was doing anything else?

Thanks!

In between the ceremony/ reception...

We're still trying to figure this out!
We have about 3 hours in between our church ceremony & cocktail hour. Our church & RH are basically down the block from each other as well, but pretty far from both my house & my fiance's family's house, so it's not like we can open our houses to our guests.
The church is right in the middle of Main Street in Northport, so we figure guests can walk around to the shops and by the water/boats out there (hopefully it's good weather!!) ... we will also either be extending our cocktail hour and/or adding on a hospitality hour with champagne at the RH, etc.

In between the ceremony/ reception...

I have the same issue as well. There is a 4 hour gap between the ceremony and the reception and I will have guests coming from out of the country that are going to be very eager to see NY. I feel bad telling them to go to their hotels for 4 hours and our church and venue are too far from my house to let them go there. I have no idea what I'm going to do yet!

In between the ceremony/ reception...

My mother is going to have people over in between with a hot chocolate bar set up. My church is at 3p and my reception starts at 7:30p.
