It feels a little silly to celebrate that since we are already married, but who cares We're going out for Japanese tomorrow and reminiscing about December 28th 2006

Do any of you ladies still celebrate your 'proposal' anniversaries? Or, plan to now that you are married?

Congrats!! I hope you have a wonderful time! OF COURSE we plan on acknowledging the day we became engaged, it was a very special one

oddly enough - we didn't say anything...and that's NOT LIKE ME...i'm a BIG TIME mush and LOVE things like that....so i'm surprised at myself for missing it.

Dave proposed last Christmas Eve....wow - that makes me sad - that we didn't even have a 'moment'...

Hey it's not too late, that was just a few days ago! Why not have a nice romantic meal over candle light and apple cider (b/c you're pregnant so no wine for you! )

You can still have your 'moment'!!

well, we'll be able to have our 'moment' in Niagara Falls - we leave for there on Tuesday....we got married there in secret on December 31st of last year - he actually proposed 2 years ago - TIME FLIES!!!!!

oh how sweet!! And yes, time does fly SO incredibly fast! I can't believe that exactly 2 years ago I was telling my mom that I thought I was going to be engaged sometime that week! And here I am married!

Yes, it's amazing, and that will be such an incredible moment! Especially now that you are pregnant too!!

I wish I could go back to the place my DH proposed, but it was in the livingroom of our old apartment where we don't live anymore!

I don't know if you are a Desperate Housewives fan but this season they fast forward 5 years ahead of last season. It just got me thinking about all the changes that can happen in 5 years, and it's incredible. 5 years ago, I was a sophmore in college and still undecided about what I would be. I also didn't know my DH yet!

Now I'm working, married... wow just makes me wonder what the next 5 years will bring.

i've never seen the show - but i did hear that they were doing that....

5 years ago - i was with dave - but had no idea we would be what we have become....we were together a year....whoa!

aww how sweet. Now that show has extra special meaning And Christmas Eve too, how nice!! What better gift for Christmas than a ring and a fiance!

DH and I actually have history behind our date. We started dating on 9/14/05, he proposed on 9/14/06 and we got married on 9/14/08! So we plan to just celebrate all 3 in one. DH planned that very carefully. He planned on out engagement 1 year after we started dating and he planned our wedding date to be 2 years exactly after our engagement. It would have been one but there was no way we could have came up with all that money to get married one year later.

Even if it were serprate dates, I'd still want to celebrate all 3 of them!

it's surreal isn't it????? Last year - this time - we were finalizing details for the January wedding....and then making our final plans for the secret wedding....and now this year - we get to go back, stand in that same spot where we got married last year and we're pregnant! whoa!!!!!!!!
