I was more like....friendly with the cool people but never too friendly....I was always on the outskirts friendly w everyone - like a diplomat. I'm still that way!

I wasn't in the 'in crowd' of the grade but there was the Honors 'in crowd' and the Honors geeks. I was part of the Honors 'in crowd'. (I answered other.)

I was fringe with alot of the different IN CROWDS, so *popular* in my own way.

I was incredibly preppy freshman year, got PUNK sophomore year because of the boy I had a crush on and remained *new wave* until graduation in 1986

I think I was geek-y ... I was in the color guard in marching band - which was not a cool thing in our High School.

Although I was friendly with the cool people too -

Kind of spoke to everyone from goths to sluts to geeks to jocks.

I was friendly with most people in the 'Scholars Academy' at my school, but not in the 'in-crowd' within this group. I had my close group of friends though. I was definitely a goody-two-shoes - I wasn't a partier at all. I was a bit of a geek too..still am. I was somewhat involved in student activities, but not one of the MOST involved. I selected 'goody-two-shoes' for the poll.

I was in crowd till I met my DH junior year then I slipped off the scene and into his arms. lol. Making out was more fun than making pep rally banners. lol

I was on the 'fringe' of the 'in-crowd' in HS also (as Wendy perfectly described it)

I was certaily never truly PART of the in-crowd, but they didn't shun me and I got along with them well (I also was dating the cousin of one of leaders of the 'in crowd' girls at the time, so I was 'well-accepted' .. funny how H.S. works)...

I basically got along with everyone in H.S. and didn't really belong to a particular group.. wasn't a geek, wasn't a jock, wasn't a nerd, wasn't very cool. Just sort of mingled with differnt groups and had my small set of good friends.

In a word- i guess I was BORING, as I am now

Hmm, I had a lot of friends, but i most certainly wasn't a part of the in crowed... I tried to be a punk/skater type during freshman and sophomore year, but i was too goody goody for that crowed, so i mainly hung out w/ the smart kind of in the middle preppies. That's kind of confusing :P

I was kind of a floater in HS. I could hang out with just about any crowd. I was friends with alot of the jocks, could hang with the stoners and the theatre people, I was in honors classes so I could hang with them... I had many different types of friends, I didn't belong to just one crowd.

I was sort of in the 'second' in-crowd But, I was all over the map really - I was a cheerleader, but also did school plays and drama classes, I played field hockey and volleyball for a while and then I had ballet and dance classes outside of school...

Should be interesting to see where I fit in now - my 10-year reunion is in 3 weeks!

My DH and I were in the Metal Heads categories. We were real rebellious. Boy do we have stories to tell! It's funny though now... we still listen to Rock music, but the Heavy Metal music I can't stand anymore. There's only 1 band I still like that's heavy other than that... it's just Classic Rock and Rock!

I was a total LOSER. I was 15 when i came to this ountry and didn't speak english, so you can imagine the time I had! I did half of my junior year and my senior year and hated it. i couldn't make any friend because of the language barrier, and I was so depressed I gained a lot of weight!
I use to seat alone at lunch

Outsider - I was a total loner, never really had a strong attachment to any one crowd. I had a couple of close friends who I incidentally do not talk to today.

I was EXTREMELY shy in high school. But, I don't what category to put myself into. I never had any problems or issues with anybody;I was quite lucky in that respect. I think for the most part people liked me cause I was a sweet person. I really wasn't a 'loner' by choice, I was so nervous and shy to talk to people, I would have loved more friends.

Me too. My high school was so big that there wasn't a definitive 'in-crowd' so I was friends with all of the little groups.

I voted 'good two shoes' though, because I didn't drink or smoke or even curse in high school. I still don't smoke, but definitely have had my share of drinks and cursing.
