Re: In high school were you....
For me I was a part of every crowd. I was in all honors classes so I was definitely a little geeky. I was always in the science fair. But I also played 3 sports and was good at them. I was very popular and was friends with every kid in the school, even the outcasts. I also hung out with a lot of 'bad' kids... like the sluts, druggies, and alcoholics. They were my best friends!

Re: In high school were you....
I was an 'outsider'- mainly because I was EXTREMELY shy. I had some 'friends', but mostly I stayed to myself, with the exception of hanging out with my b-friend, who was just like me. I couldn't stand watching the 'in' crowd torture the kids around me, so I just kept my mouth shut, and stayed away from them. It's sad when I think about it. I would NEVER want to relive those years. My 10 year reunion was last month, and I didn't go. I can't bring myself to face some of those people, basically because they just disgust me.

I was a heavy metal, guitar playing, hacky-sack playing girl who wore metalica tshirts, and hug out in parking lots while smoking.

Re: In high school were you....
I put outsider, but that's because I didn't like anyone I went to high school with and had all my friends in another school. I was voted 'Most Unique', if that helps paint a picture of me

Re: In high school were you....
I was an outsider. I was in marching band, colorguard. I made really good friends being involved but I really was never in with the 'IN' crowd. I was never interested in them!I had fun being in band and colorguard, but to the 'IN' crowd it wasnt 'cool'.
As long as I had fun, it didnt matter! I graduated and moved on. I keep in touch with 2 people from my graduating class (one is just via email who I found here
) and we havent seen each other in 11 years but its so nice to keep in touch.

I was kind of a floater in HS. I could hang out with just about any crowd. I was friends with alot of the jocks, could hang with the stoners and the theatre people, I was in honors classes so I could hang with them... I had many different types of friends, I didn't belong to just one crowd.
Like Cheryl I was a floater. I was friendly w/ all different cliques.
Though to look at photos from back then I was a Duran Duran/Rocky Horror freak w/ big hair!!

Re: In high school were you....
By senior year, my school wasn't really overly cliquey any more. I would say that I was in the 'in crowd' but we didn't separate ourselves from any other kind of crowd, we all hung out together. I guess during school, I hung out with the cheerleaders and football players mostly, but everyone partied together on the weekends and what not.

Re: In high school were you....
I hate to say this, but in HS I hung out with the crazy crowd we always would drink every weekend and sometimes partied during the week. All my friends were nuts I mean nuts. Now after the years I have really calmed down. I'm like a totally different person. I still can't beleive I hung around w/ some of these wild people. All the 'in crowd' people just seemed so plain and boring to me.

Re: In high school were you....
Theater Freak!Everyone knew who I was because I was always on stage, and I was well liked, BUT no one called me to go out on Friday nights.
That girl.
Plus, I used to shop at the Salvation Army for polyester 70's dresses and wear those to school with my hair in pigtails, a plastic mighty morphine power ranger backpack, and tons of black eyemakeup.
Don't ask.
I was trying very hard to stand out amoung the J. Crew crowds of Greenwich, CT.

Re: In high school were you....
This is a tough question when you look back...I was in the 'in crowd' but not 'popular' in the grade - but there were three 'in crowds: YOu had the preppy crowd (my crowd), then there were the druggie crowd (though not real druggies - they only did pot and now own homes and are married and live in the neighborhood) and we also had a alternative in crowd that were into drama, music or cheerleading...but we all hung out together.
The funny thing is after i graduated from HS, me and my few really good friends broke away from everyone else and wound up becoming very close friends (to this day) with people we worked our summers with at home......now i laugh at HS...when you tried to be 'popular'. What is that really? You sure did get a kick in college if you were.
I have found many of the 'popular' people from HS never got out of it and have not done much with their lives where most of the other people have gone on to college, grad school, to own homes and have kids....

Outsider - I was a total loner, never really had a strong attachment to any one crowd. I had a couple of close friends who I incidentally do not talk to today.
ditto, well sort off, same scenario, but I didn't really consider myself an outsider, more of a floater

Re: In high school were you....
I think I would have been considered somewhat of the freak category. I was in the honors classes but I hung out with all the skaters and punks. I colored my hair blue and pink and wore my doc martens religiously. AHH! I miss those crazy HS years! My husband can't even imagine me looking like that.
