In honor of platinum weddings... $$$$

What is the one thing you totally splurged on?

For me, it was the dress! Whoops! It was .... 2 more weeks till I get to see the actual dress!!!!

I agree I def splurged on my dress.....Photographer came in a close second though

me 2 I have yet to get a dress but its def going to be in high-end Vera, Amsale, Reem, etc.Its just something I feel I need to do!

luckly my parents are paying for my dress ...

our cake actually has been our biggest splurge... spending WAY WAY more then fh and I thought we would!!!

and i guess our honeymoon too...but we knew that would be a big splurge from the start ...

Makeup...considering what it is and it gets washed off in less than 24 hours.

I can't say we really splurged on anything, we're very frugal. We were able to get an extremely fair price from our photog on both our photo and video packages, budget flowers, my dress was moderately, veil was a bit pricey but mom paid, and the only add on we did was the cheesecake martini bar, but it was only $5 pp, and with our low winter base price and low winter min, it's not too bad at all.

I just felt the makeup was the biggest splurge so far, cuz it's a lot of money, and kind of like you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, wooops.
