this is terrible, i want to SCREAM at my fiance and tell him how much i hate his wacky parents, but i cant, because that will only get him mad too, and the last thing i wana do is fight with him.....

I would honestly tell them to go to hell. Who are they to say it is not 'upscale' enough. Tell them if htey foot the bill you'll get married at Oheka if they want, otherwise, tell them there opinions arent wanted. It is what YOU and FH want, NOONE ELSE. Statements like that make me soooo angry!!!! Leonards is beautiful and if that is wehre you want your wedding, don't change it!

You don't even have to go as far as saying you hate his parents (even if you do). Some things you can't change, those are his parents and they will always be. They may also be the type of people who make rude comments and hurt other people's feelings. This is something FH can speak about, and can say...Hey, you know her parents are paying for this wedding, they asked for your opinion, and you never answered them until after the hall was booked. At this point you have given up your opinion on the hall, all you are doing is bringing us down already. Just please in front of (my FW name here) please do not bash any decisions she makes.
And you can very calmly bring this up. It doesn't have to be a whole blow out I can't believe it, just a you know it really bothered me when. I tried to just let it blow over, but it's one of those things that are stuck. CLMON is right. If you let it fester it will just blow up later and then he will start asking the why didn't you tell me questions.
