Besides listening to all the opinions of other people about the baby, my parents and sister, and my DH parents and sister are still not getting along. Everytime I'm talking to one or the other, they have to say nasty things about each other. I've been really good about not saying anything back to them. I just nod and smile. But it's so hard because what they're complaining about they did themselves at some point. They are all such hypocrits (sp?)!!! It's just getting on my nerves. Ever since our wedding over a year ago, they hate each other! I can't win!

Don't even bother trying.
My sister just insulted my SIL. She complained about something she did at our wedding. My SIL was VERY generous w. our wedding gift AND paid for the rehersal dinner. what my sister complained about was so stupid. It's the whole we're better then them.....WHATEVER!!!
(mind you SIL lives in Ireland so my family & his family will never have 'much' contact)

Melissa - I am so sorry that you are going through all this.
Tell them all to get over it and just get along, that you will not be stuck in the middle and that you don't want to hear it anymore. They are all going to be a part of each others lives and are going to have to see each other at functions and you are not dealing with this anymore.

I actually said that to my mother last night. I told her everyone needs to 'Get over it, and move on!' Of course she said absolutely nothing. The funny thing is that we've been together for 10.5 years! What's the problem? It all started with money issues, and promises for our wedding. So now it's all down hill from here!
