In Laws!!!-vent!!!

My FMIL is going to drive me crazy! She and my FH got into an arguement over a clock...yes, a clock...a stinking plastic clock!!! Her new thing now is to say when FH and her argue that she is not going to come to our wedding and she will not allow her daughter (FH's sister) to go either...she will be a BM. I am getting fed up w/ her emotional blackmail (this has not been the 1st time). I know things are said when people are angry but don't stick your foot in your mouth like that! So, is this going to be the new thing? When she gets mad she is going to threaten not to come to her son's wedding and pull her daughter (15yrs old) out of the wedding party??? It amazes me how adult can act like 2 year olds!!! Sorry to vent. I normally keep my mouth shut, except when she starts bad-mouthing FH to me...which she has done. I just don't know how long I am going to be able to keep my mouth shut if this continues.

I don't know if his sister is around when this is being said. He pretty much helped raise her...always trying to do fun things with her and bring her out of her shell (she was a very shy kid). I am even close with her...I have always tried to be the 'sane' female influence...I even bought her her first makeup kit! FMIL is very manipulative in my experience. A few years ago I was layed off and had no $$$. She told FH at christmas that his sister liked FBIL's girlfriend better than me now because she buys her more gifts! That made me feel terrible! Turns out that wasn't the case, his sister did not really feel that way. But still... This is just an example of the many things she does. I would be really sad if his sister wasn't able to participate. I think it is horrible the way she treats my FH.
