So a year ago today i recieved a call from my mom saying that i must go to stonybrook hosptial and say goodbye to my aunt, who become terminally ill overnight and had a stroke and basically didn't have more than a few hours to live. My brother and I went up there and sat w/ her for an hour and then we said our goodbyes...we all proceeded back to my parents house and an hour later my cousin calls up and said she has passed....its going to be so hard 2day...xmas eve will never EVER be the same again! I know she'd be kicking my A$$ for being sad but ya can't help feeling the way you do.

I just wanted to say I hope you feel better, earlier this year I had someone close to me pass away due to a stroke in a similiar way--one day she was fine and the next she was gone. She was a very happy person, so when I start to get sad, I just think about how she would want me to keep my spirits up.

thanks guys....my fam did like a moment of silence and we all said something special about her ... and it felt real good to express our feelings
