I'm finalizing my programs and wanted to know who I should include in the dedication section. My FH last his father almost 20 yrs ago and his grandparents many, many yrs ago and his aunt 2 wks ago. I lost my grandparents many, many yrs ago and an aunt several months ago. Do we include everyone (all 10)? Just recent passing's (both aunts and also FH's father)? Advice needed.

I would stick to the most recent and the biggest portions. Please know I am not down playing how important family in general is or how important Aunts can be but I think it should maybe just be FH's father, aunt and your aunt... once you start naming all the people it becomes a somber occasion you don't want that sorta stinging the atmosphere ya know?

i would absolutely include everyone... it is nice for them to be mentioned on your day - i lost my mother and when my sister got married her husbands uncle had just passed, they had both lost grandparents and a few cousins... all of their names were mentioned (deaths going back 25 years) it wasnt sad at all it was touching to have them a part of their special day

My FH father passed away before he was born but I know it would mean the world to his family to incorporate his father into the wedding somehow. I know my FH doesn't really care as he never knew him but I would love to do something for the others.Welcome New Vendors
