in need of a video editor....

hi girls...i just got my video from Duet and i wasnt what I had much expected.

they kind of messed up on my songs for my baby pictures and his baby pics...for my song i wanted 'brown eyed girl'...which they did....but they kept it also for his pics...and then they had 'Call me Al' (which was his song) for the preparation at my house....and they said they cant change it!!!

i think i'm just gonna edit it on my own...which kinda S u c k s b/c i paid good $ to them....HELP!

I would tell them you're not happy and make them do it over. I used to be in media production and did a lot of editing. Almost anything you dont like can be fixed.

I would NOT pay more money to have someone edit Duet's work. I'm using Duet so I know that the video is a pretty penny, so I wouldn't accept that answer, esp since THEY messed up. Good Luck! I'd def be interested to know the outcome!

i agree with the above poster, u shouldnt have to pay for something that they messed up on! but, i had a huge problem with my videopgrapher (so huge that he didnt show up until 2 hours before the end) and i wanted to get the footage that someone taped on their camcorder edited. so, i spoke with ray from timeless treasures who was sooooo nice and said that they do editing also but it costs ALOT! so really talk to duet before u go this route

as long as its in writing what you wanted and there is proof that isnt what you got (i.e. the video) they have to redue it. as long as they have the master.
