In need of date advice...locking in Saturday..

Ok....about 40% of my guestlist is OOTers, so I rather not do a Friday night nor a Sunday night wedding just to help them not have to make a tough decision....

Sooooo....the 2 dates we're looking at are.....

One non-holiday date and one on Labor Day weekend.

Can you help me out with opinions?

Any other suggestions are welcome also!!!

I choose the summer! That's when everyone goes on vacation... might as well bring the OOT's in for a New York vacation!

If you have a lot of OOTers I would try to stay away from Labor Day weekend. The airlines jack up the prices on holiday weekends and you do not want to inconvenience your guests.

Unless they are giving you a really good price then I say go for it. Unfortunately no matter what you do you are not going to make everyone happy.

Good point on the flights....didn't even think of that! Duh!! And yeah....the kids will be off in July....hmmm...looks like July is beating out September!

Keep in mind I'm biased! I chose July for the same reasons I used.

I originally wanted September because it's cooler, but July is better for kids and OOT peoples.
