Once I hit the year mark, I gave myself permission to start buying stuff off etsy, and that has been a BLAST! My credit card doesn't appreciate it though, LOL

Are you and FI doing anything to celebrate??

too too funny ... i have a long list of etsy links saved on my computer and i was totally waiting for one year to hit to start purchasing!! it just didn't feel real before today!

yes!! FH and I are actually heading to boston this evening - we are meeting with our engagement photographer tomorrow morning and then heading to cape cod. so we will be celebrating this weekend with some drinks and dinner for sure!

did you two do anything special when you hit one year?

We went for a fancy dinner at Prime in Huntington (I wore a white dress!) so that was great. But OMG so funny that you said Boston and the Cape! FI and I lived in Boston for a few months when he was working with at the US Attorney's office. We absolutely loved it there. Our apartment was in Beacon Hill and it still feels like home to us. We spent a few weekends in Chatham, such a great place.

Amazing!! We are always in Chatham - FH's parents have a vacation home in Brewster. Boston still feels like home to us, too - we go back every chance that we get. No one understands that feeling unless they've spent a substantial amount of time there! Beacon hill is so beautiful :)
