Don't get to panicky. It's does not sounds bad. You're home so that's good. Rub some bengay on it and dont do any strenous activity. If it doesnt ease up by tommorow then you might wanna head to the doctor.

yeah i just kept saying this morning that it will probably go away soon and not even think about it but then everyone at work was like OH its probably your appendix so thats when i started thinking oh no i hope not, its so stupid but all i kept thinking is this cant happen now bc we start pre-cana tomorrow lol i have issues

It very well could be your appendix..or what about a cyst burst?? I've had both before and they both felt like they were in the same place. Actually while I was in the hospital for emergency appendectomy, a big cyst burst..i was there for 5 days in the worst pain of my life...

not to scare you!! thats just me and my problems lol

but i'd def. see a doctor today if the pain continues

I know you dont want to hear it and Im not saying it def is but that sure sounds like your appendix......I would call your doc.....or go to the ER.....but on the plus side not every one with appendicitis has to have surgery .....do you have a fever or loss of appetite?

thats good to know that it doesnt necessarily mean i need surgery...im a little warm but not sure if i have a fever...i think im gonna wait a bit to see how i feel and if it doesnt get better im gonna tell FH to take me to the doctor...thank you

Maybe it's a sign. Dont go to pre-cana yet. Don't let anyone scare you yet though. I don't think you can just one morning wake up with a sharp pain and think its your appendix. Sometime when you sleep and twist and turn, you CAN pull a muscle.

You probably got a muscle spasm. Does it feel tight??

i dont know what it could be

if it makes you feel better - there have been TWO times that I almost went to the hospital for stomach pain ( once this past weekend ) and both times it turned out to be gas

Oh okay doesnt sound like ur back...but it just maybe Gas honestly ., that happened to me last year., I went to the ER and they gave me meds it went away

In some cases if appendicitis is caught early enough antibiotics can help etc........There are a lot of things that can cause pain in that region even more so in women ....Im sure you will be fine!!! You are a pretty tough person!!!

I felt similarly a few years ago. I was living in Atlanta at the time and all of a sudden felt a very sharp pain in my lower abdomen. Anyway, I called my parents hysterically and my father literally forced my roomate (over the phone mind you) to take me to the ER. He said if it was my appendix and it suddenly decided to burst, it could be very bad obviously. So we went to the ER and it wasn't my appendix thank god, but they did an ultrasound and it turns out that I had had a cyst on my ovary (that I knew nothing about) and it burst. That's what the sharp pain was and the constant dull severe discomfort afterwards was a result of the burst.
I don't want to worry you, but it always best to err on the side of caution.

Does it hurt when you press on it? If it's your appendix the pain when you press will be unbearable.

it hurts alot but i wouldnt say unbearable

It could be you pulled a muscle, slept the wrong way or just gas. As long as you dont have a fever...relax and see how you feel in the morning. If it doesnt subside by the AM go to your doctor.

It could be that you are ovulating or maybe a cycst burst. i have that pain alot.
i wouldnt jump the gun with your appendix, if it doesnt go away by tomorrow call a dr.
