Stupid freakin dentist said that my jaw was hurting cuz i was clenching my theeth at night. told me to put a warm compress on it and it would hopefully feel better.....WRONG. i woke up this morning my FACE IS SWOLLEN! I called my dentist in NY and told him and he said by puttin the heat on it i made it a breeding ground for bacteria and have an infection and now need a root canal.........ghejwkdl'k;vmdjkasfljfgljkrhldt im in soooo much pain and they are all out of the office for the holidays....they better get back to me ASAP!

Omg I'm so sorry you're in such pain! He should have told you COLD not HEAT!! UGH! Hope that things get better soon

wow- why didnt he warn you about the heat causing an infection BEFORE he told you to put it on there?? i am sooo sorry that happened to you hun, i hope it gets better really fast!!!

ooooooooooh sweetie i am sooooooo sorry!!! there is nothing worse than tooth pain trust me i know!! i hope u feel better really soon!!!! Put some ice on the swelling it should help!

the FH just went to pick up my antibiotic that the dentist in NY phoned in for me, so hopefully ill start to feel a bit better once i get it in my system...if i dont start getting better im gonna have to go to the hospital
