So right now, it is down to the Swan Club and Westbury Manor.
FH wants to do a tasting at both.
We went to Coral House today and the food tasting was the determining factor in not selecting them in our final list.
So now FH wants a tasting for Swan Club and Westbury manor. I know for the Swan Club, they offered us a lunch on them and they are having a bridal expo this Thursday, which I hope FH can get off work for.
As for Westbury Manor, they gave me a $25 gift certificate to go to their restaurant. I know they have an expo in March, but on the flyer it says the couple needs to be a registered WM couple. Don't know if that means only booked couples.
For each RH, the months and days differ. We got a great price for WM in March for a Saturday night. As for Swan Club we got great prices too, but we are looking to do a Sunday reception in May.
But right now I am just glad that we almost there in making our final decision.

Congrats, thats so exciting, Good luck. I have been to a wedding at Westbury Manor and the food was really good.

Good luck! i was looking at WM as well, didnt get to go to a food tasting, BUT ive heard from many that the food is really good

Both are great choices but which date do u prefer cuz they are big differences.
I went there also knowing i wanted my wedding on a specific date in September. Somehow about 1/2 through the whole conversation turned into a feb or march wedding. The BM even got the book our and penciled my name in for one of those dates even after i said i wasn't interested in it.
I think i like the room at westbury manor a little better then swan club but they are both beautiful outside.

FH likes the brightness of the Contessa Room vs the Hill Room at WM. Also, we are comparing different months for similar price. WM gave me a quote for Saturday night in March, while SC's quote is for a Sunday in May.
Actually, I think we are leaning more towards Swan Club. The grounds will be filled with flowers by May, while WM in March will probably not have any. I heard such great things about WM, that I would consider doing my wedding in March. It is now up to FH to visit each place and help make the final decision.

They are both great places so that is a tough decision to make. I just felt that the Swan Club would really do whatever you wanted them to do.. And the grounds are absolutely beautiful in May. WM was a little more rigid and kept telling me different prices. But I have heard great things about both!
