In the Mix DJ's

Hi, I just was wondering if anyone knows about In The Mix DJ's or is using them. I met with Danny this weekend and he seemed very accomodating and the price that he quoted me for a general package..including..ceremony,cocktail hour,reception,laser show,and give outs seemed very reasonable. Was wondering if anyone had any feedback on them? I also met with Russell from Hollywood DJ's and thought that he was a little on the obnoxious side and much more expensive then In the Mix. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Allison

We also met with Danny and we were very impressed with some of the neat things they can do at the reception. He was very nice and the prices were good. The only thing that turned us away was that he couldn't tell us who our DJ would be for our day and give us any info. about him. A pool of DJs and MCs work for them, sort of like a booking service. We decided that we would rather book a DJ knowing who exactly would work our reception, along with his backup.

I ALSO WENT TO HOLLYWOOD DJS, MET WITH RUSSELL, I FOUND HIM VERY NICE AND KNOWLEGEABLE, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT CAME TO MUSIC SELECTION, NOT OBNOXIOUS AT ALL. I WASN'T GOING TO BOOK BECAUSE IT WAS A LITTLE MORE THAN I PLANNED TO SPEND. BUT THEN I WENT TO MY COUSINS WEDDING AND IT WAS THE BEST WEDDING I EVER WENT TO. HOLLYWOOD DJS GOT EVERYBODY OUT OF THEIR SEATS. MY COUSIN ALSO USED THEIR VIDEO AND PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICES AND WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THEM. I'M DEFINITELY GOING BACK TO BOOK THEM FOR MY WEDDING

I have heard only good things about In the Mix. Everyone raves about ho the get the party started and keep it going.

I did not meet with Danny whom I had heard great things about I met with another DJ who I found to be obnoxious, I think danny is the one you need to stick with if this is who you book.

They were my second choice...I was really close to booking with them - it was a really tough decision for me. I heard a lot of good things about them.
