In two more months we can all officially say..

that we are getting married next year! I am looking forward to New Year's Day for that reason!

Right! Whenever people ask when I'm getting married I say May 20 and before I get 2016 out they're like oh how exciting! & then I say 2016 and they're like oh that's far.

I've had a couple of family members actually tell me to have my wedding sooner because they don't want to wait (they weren't being playful either)! I don't want to wait either, but we need the time to save!

I've gotten all of the above! I just tell them if they'd like to donate to our wedding or house funds, they're more than welcome. That usually shuts them up lol. People just don't get how expensive weddings are. We're having an almost three year engagement (just celebrated one year engaged on Saturday!) and the questions have died down for now. I'm sure as it gets closer, we'll get the 'finally! I thought this day would never come!' shut the f#%^ up! Is what I'd like to say, but miss manners frowns upon it lol

Yes!!! I was thinking the same thing the other day!! I just finally hit my two year mark. I too cant wait for all the rude remarks... This is one of the reasons why I love talking to you girls. You all make me feel like I'm not alone in this whole process

I think were super blessed because we have time to save up for everything and not be crazy stressed like other weddings that are planned in less than a year.
