Inappropriate songs for weddings

Original post by TrueLoveIn2008

Let's have a little fun.

What are some songs that would not be appropriate for a wedding? I heard one the other day on the radio and thought, oh how terrible this would be at a wedding!

Some from me:

Guns n Roses - I used to love her (but I had to kill her)

Allman Bros - Tied to the whipping post

I had others but can't remember them now!

how about that song- I kissed a girl and I liked it...

I could just picture my grandma's face now.

I just had to tell my mom the words to the song the other day! My youngest sister (13) has been singing it alot. I don't think mom will let her listen to it anymore.

Ok that one is actually on my list... I have alot of Lesbian friends that will be there.. So...

How about Paradise by the dashboard light by Meatloaf? Not exactly appropriate for a wedding especially the end of the song...
Lyrics:
So now Im praying for the end of time
To hurry up and arrive
Cause if I gotta spend another minute with you
I dont think that I can really survive
Ill never break my promise or forget my vow
But God only knows what I can do right now
Im praying for the end of time
Its all that I can do
Praying for the end of time, so I can end my time
With you!!!

hey this song is a beautiful wedding song!
Said I loved you but I lied
'Cause this is more than love I feel inside
Said I loved you but I was wrong
'Cause love could never ever feel so strong
Said I loved you but I lied

Hes saying what he feels for her is more than love!

I still haven't found ... was the song I heard the other day in the car and what made me think of this thread! That would be funny.

I was in a store today and they were playing some rap song - I do not really listen to popular music, I have Sirius and listen to the adult rock / singer-songwriter stations pretty much exclusively, so I don't know it - but I think it was called 'Back that shiiit up'??? Imagine hearing THAT at a wedding.

Plus, it had a ton of cursing in it, and I was like, why are they playing this at a surf shop??? There were 2 tween-age kids there paying with their dad and the song was mutha-f**k this and mutha-f**k that, and I'm like .... they turned it down but STILL! Find something with no curses, will you?

'Brick' by Ben Folds Five. I think it's about a guy who takes his girlfriend to get an abortion.
