Hi girls,

Just to get an idea of where I stand on the income ladder.

Counting only YOUR OWN income, do you make over or under $40,000 a year?

Over, but when I graduated in 98, I was way under, and then by 2000 I was over 40,000.

But I am still underpayed compared to what other CPA's are paid.

I love my job, and even though I'm over I'll never make 6 figures (I work in higher ed administration) unless I get a PhD. But I have awesome benefits and a very generous 403(b) contribution from my employer (12% of my salary), and an obscene number of vacation days (22).
