So I had my hair and makeup trial. Loved my hair, makeup needs to have a second trial which I'm doing tomorrow. But now I'm rethinking my hair as well. Every decision we have made about the wedding has been ones we haven't given a second thought too but now all I keep thinking is this how I want my hair to look when I look back on my pictures in 5, 10 20 years??? I want to resemble myself and now wanting a second hair trial too is costing me $ I don't have : ( Anyone else dealing with this???

I hear ya! I loved my hair from my trial so I am sticking with something similar, but I'm having hard time with my makeup. I had it done my engagement photos and I loved it at the time, but now that I keep looking at the photos it's all wrong! LOL

I was at MAC the other day and a girl and her MoH were getting their makeup done! I thought it was such a brilliant idea, especially because you only have to spend money on product after (which you're going to want for touch-ups anyway!) You can even schedule with specific artists, so if you go one with someone you like, just schedule them again!

I already had my makeup trial and I loved it. I just was a little hesitate about how I looked only because I don't normally wear makeup so I wanted to look myself as much as possible and for FH to see me walking down the aisle and say, 'who the heck is this?' Lol going for my hair trial in two weeks with my veil and headband and am so excited but just keeping fingers crossed that I like it and he can do it THE EXACT same way for the day of. Lol

Hair and makeup I am dreading doing this so much. I know I will be that girl that needs to have so many trials and can never make a decision on a hair or makeup style. But the price of all those trials I cannot afford. At least when I tried on over 100 wedding dresses that didn't cost me anything besides my time.

This is the one thing I've been holding back on. I'm very picky and I feel if I start my trials now...I have more time to think about what I like and didn't like. If I wait till about 4 months before it limits my time and aggregation of having the flexibility of changing things.

I am 100% with you on this! I have had 1 makeup trail that I didn't LOVE and I am anxious about doing another trial because I don't want to spend $1,000 on trials alone! it's getting crazy

My stomach was in knots because I didn't want to spend more money on another trial and I liked the person from the first but I didn't love how I looked. I talked to her about it, booked her for a second and told her what I didn't want and what I did want and fell in love after my second trial.
I must add that she did EVERYTHING I showed her on the first trial exactly, so it was me that didn't know what I was looking for.
But she nailed it the second time, booked on the spot for me and 8 others.
This was the only thing (just about) that I had second guessed since we have booked vendors and made decisions and honestly, although it cost me money I didn't really want to spend, I'm really really happy I did the second trial. How you look without being vain is important, you'll see it in pictures forever so if there's one thing to be 100% on its this.

you're absolutely right. I haven't second guessed anything so far and you would think that this is a life or death decision. I don't know what the deal is!!
I'm having this issue with our DJ too, FH's dad is paying for it and I liked one DJ but he thought the guy was insulting but is willing to work with him if we HAVE to have him but he feels uncomfortable. If he is paying for it, I don't want him to give money to someone he doesn't like! He has another DJ in mind that he know and I used them for my 21st but I am not in love with them, I don't know what to do. I think it's just scary for me to NOT know what I want, everything so far has been so easy lol

Trust your gut in my opinion... What if you looked at a third dj? Tough when it's someone elses $ which is kind of you to be considering. Not everyone would do that.

Yeah, I know I have to live with them and they are really great people, it's not really fair to them and the DJ they don't like too much I have been hearing they are coming to jobs very unprofessional (FBIL works at the watermill) and some previous clients have had not so great experiences so I don't know. It will all work out in the end though =)
