Anybody have any ideas for a rainy/cold/snowy day to take wedding pictures indoors? My reception hall won't allow me inside until a half hour before my wedding starts and I have an hour & half to take some pictures somewhere nearby Wading River/Baiting Hollow area. Any ideas? Thanks!

Re: Indoor photo locations out East
What about a vineyard...some have really nice tasting and barrel rooms. They may require a fee but it may be worth looking into.

There's a beach in Wading River you can go to.

We did a beach out near East wind on a cold windy day and they came out awesome (my cousins pics) ... We also did a vinyard and you can go inside as well.

harts2976 what vineyard did you go into? did they charge for it?
I've spent a few hours on the phone with some wineries, most said they have to call me back. Duckwalk was very nice, but its too far from Giorgio's so I dont have enough time to get out there but they said they wouldn't charge me as long as we bought some bottles of wine. Baiting Hollow Vineyard says they charge $20 per person, which is way too much. Martha Clara charges a fee, but they are going to call me back. I'm also waiting for a call back from a few others. Anybody else have any other suggestions? Thanks!

Ok, I'll let ya know. I hope to hear back soon! In the meantime, I might call Baiting Hollow and try to negotiate w/ them. Anybody else use vineyards for pictures?

Jenna see if you can ask them(baiting Hollow) that if you buy some wine will that be good enough. I mean its off season and they're not busy. Also tell them that you got no quotes from anyone else. Especially not that high

Yeah, just got off the phone w/ Baiting Hollow. They were willing to negotiate, and I told them that nobody else was charging me that much. I got them down to half as much as they were charging me to beging w/ so I told them ok! And I found out its a donation to Horse Rescue :)

There is also Holtsville Ecological Center. They have nice florals inside.

Try Macari, it's not to far from Giorgios. Sparkling Pointe is brand new and breathe taking. But they are a few minutes further east.
