INDOOR PICTURE LOCATION

I am getting married next weekend and I am planning on taking pictures at the Oakdale Arboretum but looking for a back up place just in case it rains? or does the Arboretum have some indoor places to take pictures?

I'm hoping for a BEAUTIFUL DAY but just in case I would like to be prepared!!!!!

THANKS

Lizlen told me about Old Westbury Gardens . The grounds are georgeous and I do believe you can use the mansion to take pictures. And if you go to 'look around' to see if you want to book, you get free admission.

I could be totally wrong but i think it is EAB Plaza in uniondale that a lot of people go to if it rains. I think they have like a garden or something inside.

I just got married at the Vanderbilt Mansion in Oakdale and they have great places for photos inside the mansion. I'm pretty sure that if there is no wedding going on at the time its open to the public.

DO NOT GO TO EAB!! First of all, you would need an appointment there, and it costs something like $135 (I forget the amount really) - if it doesn't rain, and you don't need it, you just lose the money. BUT, the big problem in the fall, is the GIANT PUMPKIN, SCARECROW, ETC, THAT THEY HAVE ALL OVER THE PLACE. Everywhere you try to take a picture, these things are in the backround. I was DEVESTATED when I showed up there!

My limo driver suggested the Holtsville Ecology Center - I don't know much about it but may be worth looking into for indoor pics!
