How much cheaper is it to have a nice backyard wedding as opposed to a wedding at a reception hall? I know i have to get tents and china and all of that for a backyard wedding.

If you do your research and have help, it can be affordable depending on how many guests. There are many supply companies with warehouses of stuff, you wouldn't believe it.Supplies are easy, it's having the help to put everything out and clear. We've learned in the past it's worth it to hire people to help with those things.
That was my first choice of wedding. Keep us posted on your progress.
I think its more of a headache than its worth - thats just my opinion though...

I'm sure given RH prices that it would be cheaper...but as a PP said, IMO it might be a big planning headache...only because things that come with a RH (like china, chairs, linens etc) are things you would have to rent separately. Maybe do a post on here for girls that had a backyard wedding and ask for feedback first? JMHO

yeah i think it would a major headache and probably not worth it in the end! you'd have to worry about everything rental down to having enough dessert spoons and forks.
