that set up, serve and clean up after the party is done. My mom wants to have a shower for my sister in her backyard. I'm planning and she is paying . She doesn't want to pay an arm and a leg and she wants the food to be really good. Any suggestions?
TIA

I don't know where you're located, but we use Antonios in Malverne. They set up, but I have never had them clean up. You could hire someone as a waitress (usually around $100) and they clean up.

Re: Inexpensive caterers
I am actually using Guy Anthony's in Merrick for my backyard BBQ E-party in August. They do the whole set-up (of their stuff, waitstaff, to clean up thing. Our price is about $25 pp (that's figuring tax, and waitstaff pay which is 425/pp/hr) and we're getting the 'Full BBQ' menu. We went there for dinner 2 weeks ago and met with Guy. Very nice, very accomodating. Look into them!
