Inexpensive dance classes in Manhattan

Please recommend which place you went to and the approximate cost.

What type of dance are you looking to take? Are you looking for private classes or group classes? Answer those then I can help you

Try Dance Manhattan . They are located on 19th street between 5th and 6th avenue.

Classes ran on a four week schedule (one class a week for 1 hour) I took salsa classes there about 3 years ago. At that time I paid $70 for each 4 week session.

Try Broadway Dance Center. You become a member and then I think each class is 15 bucks... which is nothing if you plan on taking one class a week or two...
